15-week fitness assessment
Wednesday, December 13th, 2006This morning I had my 15-week fitness assessment. It involves walking on a treadmill until you reach a target heart rate, taking measurements, blood pressure, body fat percentage and strength and flexibility tests. Yesterday I had blood drawn for my cholesterol tests and next week Tuesday I see the Dr. to go over all the results.
One of the results I already know about is my treadmill test. The first time it took my just over 7 minutes to reach my target heart rate. This morning it took me almost 11! That’s a 150% improvement over my initial results. That was really awesome to know that all the cardio I have been doing is making a difference.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the results next week.
