Week 12 Recap
This week I actually DID track my food but I am finally in a phase of the program that I am experimenting with more and more foods. I managed to lose 4.4 lbs this week so I will definetely take it.
This week I had my first alcoholic drink since September. It was a great drink and didn’t turn me into a crazy hunger monster. On Sunday, I had a pc of Carrot cake. yummo!
But I think Saturday afternoon was the best meal I have had in a long time. It was one of those meals that as you are eating it you just get happy and your whole body starts to tingle with every bite. Ace and I went to a Vegan restaurant in Redmond that was amazing. Both of us started to eat our food and both of us were speechless with the quality and taste. We were persuaded to order the “cheesecake.” As soon as the waiter said “No eggs, no milk or dairy, no butter at all” I was really intrigued. Holy cow, best cheesecake ever. The consistency was spot on and the taste was incredible. The whole time we were eating it, we were both just smiling with glee and so happy that this cake was made out of protein and it was good for us. Also, it didn’t have the regular “tired’ effect that most desserts would. We were both wired from the sugar and the protein. I highly highly recommend it.
